Transitional Period Reminders

We are in a seasonal transition period. FDA data suggests there is a correlation with foodborne illness outbreaks and seasonality and the transitions that occur between major growing regions. The Yuma Safe Produce Council encourages Food Safety Professionals, Growers, and local Ag-Businesses to be vigilant during this time-period. No single practice, event, or food safety system breakdown can explain outbreak occurrences.
